From the road, you’re only able to get brief glimpses of this waterfront property, making it appear to be almost hidden. It’s not until you’re in the extravagant atrium do you see what has been hidden away.
With 98 rooms, there isn’t a feeling of being overcrowded or like you’re staying in a shopping mall. Rooms and suites have varying views from the city to the marina, but one of the more notable rooms is the Premier Bay View Room With Jacuzzi; as the name would suggest, the room has its very own private jacuzzi along with views over the bay.
The rooftop pool is a decent size where you could actually get some laps in when it’s not too busy; otherwise, it’s a nice area to sit and relax or just float around. As for the fitness center, it’s on the small side and probably the one thing that lets the hotel down a little.
Massive floor-to-ceiling windows show off the beautiful views of the Marina Bay waterfront. They have a choice of local and international dishes, with some classic French delights available as well.
Home to a sleek and well-stocked 13-meter-long bar and the Gin Parlour, The Landing point offers guests an elegant and comfortable place to sit and watch the bay while enjoying either a meal, high tea, or even a cocktail.

If there is a hotel that needs no introduction, it is the iconic Raffles Hotel, recently extensively restored. The Raffles Hotel still retains its impeccable grandeur and, most importantly, its legendary service.
Suites are large and have a colonial style with high ceilings and beautiful ornate moldings; while the rooms are elegant, you still feel like you’re at home.
Raffles hotel has a good size swimming pool in a picturesque colonial-style courtyard. The gym is full of Italian-designed Technogym equipment; there are treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, and a stationary bike.
Along with a range of dumbbells and an adjustable bench, there are multifunctional weight machines also available.
Refined wood-fired dining, this isn’t just a steak house. With a name like Butcher’s Block, one might expect slabs of meat strictly, but this isn’t the case. The menu is diverse and features a range of international dishes.
An open kitchen, premium wines on display, and ‘The Vault’ that showcases the wide selection of meats all help add to the overall dining experience.

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but probably best known for its Afternoon Tea, The Grand Lobby will delight those who dine here. Although the ambiance is casual and relaxed, it’s best to get a little dressed up to suit the classy environment.
Serving authentic North Indian in the elegant Tiffin Room, this restaurant’s history dates back to 1892. Prices are reasonable for a 5-star hotel restaurant, plus you get to experience Chef table-side service.

This is a very pretty restaurant from the floral entranceway, the soft and soothing decor, and the delicately presented dishes. This Chinese restaurant is definitely unique; dishes are familiar and yet completely different from how you expect them to look.
You haven’t really experienced the Raffles Hotel until you have sat in the famous Long Bar and sipped on a Singapore Sling. If you’re feeling extra extravagant, they serve a Vintage Sling, where the cocktail is made with spirits from the 50s from a private collection; this one does come at a premium price.
A sophisticated bar that pays homage to the famous authors that have resided at Raffles over the years. The dark tones and glamorous solid brass bar counter create an intimate environment for evening drinks or gourmet snacks.

Positioned at the mouth of the Singapore River, this former General Post Office Building is steeped in history. The great location puts you within walking distance of Boat Quay, National Gallery, and Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.
Good-sized, well-appointed rooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated with a touch of old-world charm. Room views vary, with some having an internal courtyard view; it’s definitely worth opting for a river or bay view to make your stay extra special.
The Fullerton has a large infinity pool with sweeping views of skyscrapers, the Boat Quay, and the Singapore river. Exercise is taken care of in the well-equipped fitness center within the hotel; there’s plenty of cardio equipment but also a great range of weight machines and free weights.
Sitting in the opulent atrium of the Fullerton Hotel, it’s easy to see why The Courtyard is so popular. One of the best ways to experience The Courtyard is by having afternoon tea, where you can enjoy a selection of savory and sweet finger foods.
Superb views of the Singapore river, especially when seated outside. Plenty of choice from the à la carte menu, but the themed buffets are the biggest drawcard, and the variety and quality are hard to beat.
Elegant Cantonese fine dining, both in decor and in plate presentation. Table spacing allows for intimate evenings, and partitioned areas are available when the occasion requires privacy. Deep-fried Taro is a must-try.
The St. Regis Singapore

Possibly one of the most spectacular hotel entrances in Singapore with a vestibule featuring a large crystal chandelier, leading the way through to the beautiful lobby area further adorned with crystal chandeliers, mirrored ceiling, and walls covered in artwork.
Spacious rooms with neutral color palettes and rich wooden furnishings. Marble bathrooms feature large stand-alone bathtubs with a tv screen close by for long soaking sessions. Located on the same level as the fitness center is the hotel swimming pool.
There isn’t a view from the pool like a lot of other hotels, but this keeps some of the crowd away. The gym is a good size with Technogym weight machines and cardio machines, and there’s plenty of equipment here to have a full-body workout.
Looking rather posh with extra high ceilings, enormous chandeliers, and floral patterned carpeting, it’s hard not to be impressed by the Brasserie Les Saveurs’ elegance. Serving classic French cuisine with most ingredients being from local sources. Brunch is insanely popular at times; reservations are required.
Cantonese modern fine dining that satisfies even the most die-hard of traditionalists. With a vast menu, it can take time to decide, so plan in advance or consider going with a set menu. Semi-private booths here are excellent for a bit of extra privacy.
Shinji By Kanesaka at the St. Regis is the second restaurant opened in Singapore under One Michelin Star chef Shinji Kanesaka. A modest-looking entrance leads you to the delectable Japanese cuisine created within.
A hidden gem that’s both cosy and classy, featuring and extensive range of spirits, especially whiskies. The cocktail menu has a good range and is about the going rate for Singapore, there’s also a menu for finger foods to accompany a drinking session.
It’s hard to comprehend the sheer enormity of the Marina Bay Sands Singapore; it’s big, like really big. Looking more like a hotel from Las Vegas or something from Dubai, this three-tower hotel is connected by what’s called the SkyPark. The hotel has over 2,500 rooms making the experience feel less intimate than other 5-star accommodations in Singapore. Views here vary from good, great and spectacular, the city view being one of the most popular and perhaps most awe-inspiring. Deluxe room sizes start from 30 square meters, compared to the lavish Chairman Suite, measuring 600 square meters.
Modern rooms with calming neutral colors are used. Rooms and bathrooms feel luxurious but nothing over the top unless you stay in one of the higher-end suites where there’s an extra level of refinement.
With one of the most impressive infinity pools in Singapore, it’s hard not to rave about it; the size, design, view, and location combine to make it pretty spectacular. With all that impressiveness, the pool does get busy, so be prepared and don’t be scared to ask staff when the quieter times are.
Banyan Tree Fitness Club has enough equipment for full-body workouts, weight machines for the lower and upper body, plus a good range of dumbbells. Plenty of cardio machines, especially treadmills, all with a perfect view of the city.
Open and airy with an easygoing vibe, large trees are planted in large glazed pots, which are positioned throughout the dining area, giving a sense of having a closer ceiling overhead. Currently offering an à la carte Asian cuisine and special events with set menus with both Asian and western fair.
Chef Wolfgang Puck is a name that needs no introduction, and now this Chef has introduced his well-known Beverly Hills restaurant to Singapore. Sitting pretty in the SkyPark at the Marina Bay Sands, patrons can enjoy uninterrupted views of Singapore.
Spago focuses on using local and sustainable ingredients with a menu that can be described as a fusion of international flavors. Prices are toward the high end yet reasonable, considering the caliber of the restaurant.
IItalian food with a warm and inviting atmosphere, nicely decorated with brick and wood, gives it a rustic feel. Delicious pasta and pizza, with some excellent selections from the grill. Give in to temptation and have the 20 Layers of Chocolate Cake.
