With a Gin base, this Blue Lagoon is smooth and refreshing thanks to the combination of blue curaçao and lemonade. Some recipes will call for a vodka base, but the gin adds a wonderful floral note.

- 1 fl oz (30ml) London Dry Gin
- .7 fl oz (20ml) Blue curacao
- Lemonade
- Ice (enough to half fill glass)
- Lemon slice for garnish

How To Make A Blue Lagoon
Add gin, blue curaçao and crushed Ice (enough to half fill the glass) to a shaker. Shake vigorously and then pour into a cocktail glass, then top up the glass with lemonade. Slice the the lemon and place on to the glass.
Can I substitute the Blue Curacao?
Obviously the blue colour comes from the curaçao, but in a pinch you could substitute it. Cointreau and Grand Marnier both have similar flavours and will work well as substitutes. You can then add some blue food dye if the colour is important to you!
